One of those instances involve a Tokyo politician being kidnapped during an S&M session. ~~ 11 screenwriters contribute 11 different stories with different casts under the theme of “The worst day of their life.”

Pushed by his mother to stop lazing around the house, a Panda searches for a part-time job but has troubling finding one to accommodate his laziness. He soon stumbles upon the Shirokuma Cafe, run by a Polar Bear who is holding interviews for a part-time position with his faithful customer Penguin. Panda applies for the job but fails the interview, with the job instead going to a human girl named Sasako. However, the others soon point Panda towards a part-time job at a nearby zoo.

"This is not who I really am!", the short-tempered Nobunaga loses his temper and rewrites the script without permission. It was a small, small-scale drama, just a bunch of maniacal and slightly funny episodes, not a "Taiga Drama" at all. Now filming has begun on a historical drama directed by the real Nobunaga that is "ridiculous but all true"!

Kanpai Senshi After V

Kanpai Senshi After V (Cheers Warriors After V) is a parody Super Sentai, which started on Japanese TV in 2014. It follows the late night outs of the Sentai hero team Golden Warriors Treasure V, focusing on their drinking parties over their battles against evil. Their nights out consists of food and drinks at a restaurant which happens to be staffed by the villains they are fighting against, before heading to the karaoke bar.

Just as the preparations seem to be progressing steadily, the manager collapses. Kanematsu waits for a call from the senior waitress who has accompanied him to the hospital, and continues to write the menu silently under the broken fluorescent light. Then the phone rings, telling him that the manager will be sick tonight. And the night is over... The script and direction of the film are highly effective in making us feel the character of each of the characters and the gentle connection between them in the minimal time and space of just one night and almost only in the kitchen. The strength of the pictures in each scene is also worthy of note.
